The Gorse Fox had a quiet but busy day. Finally decided which additional consultant to deploy on project with Esteemed Client; prepared presentation for workshop; faffed about with details for project office...

and then...

some festering little troll wrote to the Gf to ask if he still needed to use his project archive.
Why yes young man, the GF is still running the project!

and then the GF went to add a new user to said archive... and couldn't. A month or so back, said troll asked if he could administer the archive along with the others he looks after. GF, being a reasonable man, said
Yes, of course; however only on the understanding that GF retains all his existing rights and privileges to the archive, and his ability to add and remove users as needed.

The slimy troll ignored this, removed GF from the administration lists and steadfastly refuses to re-instate same, claimimg it is a data security requirement.

I suspect this will rattle on. However, GF's last email on the subject, copied to his manager stated:
If you had explained the requirement in advance we could have discussed it. As it is this has been a thoroughly dishonest, disgraceful, and deceitful transaction and is entirely contrary to the ethos and behaviour that I expect of colleague.

The Silver Vixen had a much better day. She spent much of it with Urban-cub. U-c has pulled out of the purchase of the house she had been looking at. Today she had several alternatives to view. After some serious filtering there were a couple of contenders, but after a visit with the SV, one stood out. An offer has been made, and accepted... and everyone is quite excited.
