Interesting night at "Fawlty Towers". It was private hotel run by Basil Double-barrel, who obviously ran the place as a hobby. He showed GF to his room, a huge, heavily beamed period room with three beds, and small bathroom.

Colleagues started to turn up and we congregated at the bar. Basil D-B drifted in and out listening to conversations and interjecting his opinions and stories.

He went quiet and GF and colleagues were able to continue their work.

Food was good, but reports from colleagues implied wide variation in quality of accommodation.

Busy workshop most of the day. Really interesting hearing about details of the Esteemed Client's staff and how they actually operate on a day by day basis.
