All that blusters

Well that was a blustery night and, if anything, it seems to have strengthened this morning. The Gorse Fox could feel the house vibrating during some of last nights gusts.

We had football this morning. There was debris spread across the roads from overnight winds but they were clear enough by 10 this morning. It was good to see John back from bandit country and playing this weekend. He hasn't played much in Essex as he found it a bit to violent there! We played on the yellow team, together but halfway through the second half he had to leave. He was feeling faint and sick. The Gorse Fox chatted to him later and asked if he had any blood pressure issues. Sure enough he was on tablets to manage his blood pressure and this the first time he had played since last November. He does walk regularly, but as the Gorse Fox pointed out - that is nowhere near as intense.

Anyway, back to the game. The yellow team got absolutely hammered. So much so that the Gorse Fox has no idea what the final score was. Certainly we score about 7 goals - 3 from the Gorse Fox - but the Oranges must have got twice that at least.

Back home, the Silver Vixen is in the sewing room working on her latest project and the Gorse Fox has been looking at some holiday deals and ideas. Nothing immediately suits the bill but we are in no particular hurry.
