It has been a lovely sunny day with temperature up to double figures. Ellie was dropped off soon after 7:00 and we went through the usual morning rituals before escorting her to school. Once home we had a quiet breakfast and then got on with our day.
The Silver Vixen returned to her sewing. project (which is nearly finished) and the Gorse Fox returned to the Computer Guide. All the normal systems have now been documented, as has the Network. It took a couple more hours but progress is steady and satisfying. When the Gorse Fox returns he will launch into the write-ups for the iPhones, iPads, and other tablets.
There was a quiet hour or so with a book before we collected Ellie from school. The Silver Vixen headed straight home but the Gorse Fox took Ellie to the park for a while. While there, he got talking to a couple that we know. They are considering some form of extension for their property so the Gorse Fox told them about our Orangery. He's also invited them to drop in an take a look if they want.
Apple's security settings can worrying when combined with BT's network. The Gorse Fox got a message that a device was trying to sign in to his Apple Id from Manchester. He immediately declined it and went into the change password procedure. Now his old password could not have been broken by a brute force attack. His new password is even less likely to be crackable (or memorable, unfortunately). Password was changed first on iPad. Then it was changed on iPhone - and the Gorse Fox got another alert (as expected) about the login attempt. Again, it claimed it was from Manchester. This is when the Gorse Fox realised that this is because of the way BT has set up our external links. Worrying at first, but then understood and accepted.
