Though bitterly cold outside, the sun was streaming through the Orangery windows and doors. It was pleasantly warm and the Silver Vixen and Gorse Fox spent a couple of hours enjoying the sun and reading before heading out to collect Ellie.
Once home, we sat down with Ellie and encouraged her to get her homework done. This was a some self-research on the pioneer Amelia Earhart. While Ellie coloured in some pictures and wrote some sentences about her, the Gorse Fox drew and cut out a basic aeroplane made from foam board. When Ellie had coloured it and written its registration numbers on the wings, we stuck it all together ready for a short flight to school tomorrow.
