Today has been immensely quiet. The Gorse Fox was up just after 7:00 and read the daily news and the social media before the Silver Vixen came down, He then had his weekly cousins' call. There was nothing startling to report.
Most of the morning was spent exchanging emails with a Skoda dealer, trying to get a deal on replacing the current car. In the end, the Gorse Fox concluded that it made little or no sense to change from our existing car. Now the question he faces is whether to see out the PCP deal or to end it early. Ending it early saves a few pounds but dips into our savings a bit. The Gorse Fox can feel a spreadsheet coming on.
Most of the afternoon was spent in the warmth of the Orangery reading our books.
