Loosening up

Today has been a very pleasant change from the general progress of the lock-down. Urban-Cub and Ellie went out to meet with one of Ellie's little friends in LA. The Silver Vixen and Gorse Fox had other plans.

At lunchtime we headed into Chichester and met up with Old Bill and Lady Penelope at Giggling Squid. It was so nice to go out for a meal after so long. We were greeted by the manageress like long-lost friends - though to be fair we have got to know her fairly well over the years. The food was excellent as usual, and the company was great fun. It was just a real shame that Tinkerbell is still so anxious about going out and that she and Two Hats couldn't join us. 

This "Eat Out to Help Out" scheme that the Government has developed is great. The bill for the four of us came to less than £40 all together. This is well worth exploring further.

Back home, the Gorse Fox did a little more coding, then he and the Silver Vixen took Ellie along to the local play area to let off some steam on the swings and roundabouts before bed.
