A curved ball whizzed by... should be run a service in the service centre or buy a hosted service? The problems of corporate governance are such that in an effort to brand and tie down the service the service often ends up unusable or unmaintainable. As usual part of the problem is the Governments' blind belief that certain Microsoft products actually do what they say they'll do... and so we continue to play with and fight with products that are still trying to come to terms with the basic problems that Lotus solved 15 years for their products.
