Walking between the hillside over here on the left and the gallops on the right the weak winter sunshine helped emphasize the earthworks on the hillside and track that led up into Tenantry Copse.This whole stretch of the Downs is criss-crossed with many different earthworks. It isn't clear whether they are defensive or agricultural. The GF suspects that they are mainly agricultural.
