Ecclesden Manor, where my New Year's walk started (and finished). I followed the bridleway from Ecclesden up to the top of Highdown Hill, and then having surveyed from Brighton in the east to Chichester in the west... and conscious that it looked like rain, I headed back to the start point via the footpaths. Both routes were very muddy, but made for a pleasant walk.
