So much for Democracy

A a report from the Adam Smith Institute reveals that it takes 22,000 votes to win a Conservative seat in Parliament... but only 16,000 to win a Labour seat. Interesting article... Gorse Fox commends it to you.

One begins to wonder about proportional representation... then looking at the voting patterns wonders again whether that would ever result in a government with a majority, or just a succession of coalitions (and whether that would be a good or bad thing).
