Today was the first day of the new school term. Zoe had arranged a late start so she could do the school drop-off and so, I didn't have to get up too early. I wandered downstairs soon after 7:00 and made a coffee then had a quiet hour or so before I needed to walk to Zoe's to join the school drop-off. Ellie wasn't quite as enthusiastic as usual, but was no problem. We left her at the classroom and Zoe headed off to work while I set off on my morning walk.
There was nothing specific on today's agenda. I did some admin and a few chores. I then logged on to my Stocks and Shares ISA and blew £50 buying up some fractional shares in Apple, Airbus, and Saab. They may be wise buys or complete failures, but either way, I have only gambled £50.
One thing I have been researching today is the use of a Red Bull eSim to give internet coverage over the maritime network while cruising. It seems significantly cheaper than the WiFi package available from P&O. I must see if I can find some user reviews to help evaluate whether it is suitable.
After lunch we had our usual Kindle time, which was interrupted by a delivery from WoolOvers - they had a discount over the weekend and we both made the most of it. At 15:00 we left to go and collect Ellie. We stopped off at the park, where she played with Neve until it was time to come home. Ellie was with us for dinner this evening but has just been collected by Zoe.
