It was positively hot today. This was fine for the Silver Vixen who was having picnic with a friend, but it was a bit hot for the Gorse Fox playing football.
Football was fun. We were split into 4 teams and played the usual round-robin. The Gorse Fox was playing for the white-tops and, as usual, tucked himself into the centre back position. On paper, our team looked average, but once we started to play we actually did quite well. We won the first game 2-1, drew the second game 0-0, and won the last game 1-0. Fitness still eludes the Gorse Fox but he has another game tomorrow and hopes it is inching its way back.
This afternoon was meant to start with a quick bit of photo filing. That went well, but the Gorse Fox thought he'd just run a cross-reference on the filer program. His xref program failed. He has managed to find another (really obscure) bug. That has taken most of the afternoon to track down... but so far he hasn't got to grips with it. That'll have to wait until later in the week.
Late afternoon, he got the the dinner under way as the Silver Vixen arrived back. Once everything was on the hob he then had to head out to LA to collect Ellie from the child-minder. Fortunately, the traffic was a lot less troublesome than yesterday.
