It was a bright and sunny start to the day. It was also quiet and leisurely.
With breakfast and the morning papers finished (well the digital versions, thereof), the Gorse Fox had to take Urban-Cub into Chichester to collect her car from Cousteau-Cub's where she spent yesterday evening.
Dropping her off, the Gorse Fox popped on through to Sainsbury's for a few bits and pieces (most important of which was eggs). Leaving the store, clutching the various purchases the Gorse Fox was amused by the sight of a real classic in the car park. You certainly don't see one of these Singers every day, month, or even year (unless, of course, you happen to own one). The Gorse Fox looked around to see if Poirot or someone was collecting his shopping, but no such luck.
Back home the Silver Vixen had moved the cleaning operation to the Orangery. The Gorse Fox offered to lend a hand, but ended up getting the dinner prepared and set on the delay-timer. He also took the opportunity to make some more changes to the childcare spreadsheet (as request by Urban-Cub). He suspects it now covers all foreseeable eventualities.
