Hanging Around

This morning was a time for DIY.

The zero-gap TV bracket had to be unpacked and fitted. With the wall-paper going up in just over a week, it was important to make any mess in advance so that the paper could hide any marks and measurements.

The centre point was located and the gaps below and above were marked. Then the template went up on the wall to identify where al the holes should be drilled.

Two Hats came in to help and we adopted a Victorian approach - we doubled the number of fixing that were suggested. The wall may come down, but the bracket will stay there until Armageddon.

The bracket is now up, and loosely fixed. We didn't mount the TV as it will all have to come down again when the paper goes up.
