Again it started with gentle drills - dribbling (which is becoming more common as the Gorse Fox gets older), passing through gates (which is just as well, as he can no longer leap over them), and wandering from one side of the pitch to the other with the ball (again the Gorse Fox is worried that he may become good at aimless wandering).
After about thirty minutes of drills and gentle exercise we split into teams and had a match. This was great fun, but immensely difficult as the propensity to run becomes quite overwhelming at times. The Gorse Fox managed to score a couple of goals and also save a couple at the other end. His team finished off as 6-0 winners, so he was well pleased.
The Gorse Fox was surprised how much the game took out of him and found that a snooze in the chair became necessary late in the afternoon.
