Not funny
The joke is wearing thin... the engineer failed to get the boiler working and has had to order a new valve. Slowly the temperature in the house is dropping... and the weather at the weekend is forecast to drop sub-zero again. Fortunately the log fire is roaring in the living room ... and the computers are giving off some heat in the study (and the immersion heater is giving us hot water).

Definitely not funny. I hope the valve and the warmth of the GF's den is soon restored to normal - preferably before the winter gives way to summer!
