I was up at 6:30. Zoe had the day off, but was concerned she might have to pop into the shop for an hour or so if they were having problems. I decided to get up in case Ellie needed to be dropped off. She didn't! Being Friday, we would have been up early anyway, as Di had to get to her Cardiac Rehab session.
Di headed off to the community centre as I was finishing my breakfast. I then spent some time reconfiguring some backup procedures for the Pi that I rebuilt last weekend. Once that was complete, tested, and documented, I shut the MacBook and made a start on the ironing.
After lunch, we retired to the Orangery with our Kindles. It was a pleasantly warm afternoon, and I polished off another book. We will be having an early dinner tonight. We have tickets for the "Stitches Comedy Club" at Chichester Festival Theatre tonight. We are both looking forward to it, but we will miss the finale of The Traitors, so we will need to stay offline until we watch the recording tomorrow.
