Snow

Overnight snow combined with a residual cold and a dose of cowardice kept the Gorse Fox away from the football pitch today. From what Urban-Cub tells us, that was probably a good thing as the roads round LA and Rustington were "carnage".

The Gorse Fox wrapped up warm and took the Silver Vixen round for her doctor's appointment. With ice about he'd rather he was there to provide a supporting hand.

Once back, much of the rest of the day has been spent merging data from a cousin's genealogy research (sent on CD many years ago - and forgotten!) Amazingly the genealogy file was converted to the new format without a hitch and then it was just a matter of going through and comparing his research with that of the Gorse Fox. What he had done was provide thumbnail photos of all of his side of the family and that certainly makes the tree much more interesting. Everything is now "in sync" and a full backup is running (you can never be too careful).
