With Urban-Cub and Pistol Pete moving on Monday, today was a day to get stuck-in and help them. Urban-Cub was on duty at Gatwick, so we headed over to LA and while the Silver Vixen took charge of Ellie the Gorse Fox helped Pistol Pete. The first job on the schedule was the demolition (well, disassembly) of the garden shed. This needed to be broken down into easily transportable panels ready for the removal men.
Next we had some curtain poles to remove which didn't take long. The Gorse Fox convinced Pistol Pete that it would make sense to go across to the new house and start getting the curtains up and give Jake a chance to sweep and seal the garage floor. All these tasks were easy in themselves, but all required something that we had left behind - a set of steps, a vacuum cleaner, some bin liners etc. So it was that we got everything done interspersed with trips back and forth.
