Administrivia

The day has been filled with administrivia. The most significant chunk of the day was spent binging the accounts up to date. This is not a difficult task - just time consuming. All the transactions were recorded, but for the last couple of months the Gorse Fox hasn't had time to cross check all the transactions against the statements. By lunchtime it was done. Tedious glad that it's done.

The Gorse Fox made some nice sweet potato and butternut squash soup at lunchtime. The Tefal soup maker we bought last winter is a marvellous little machine. You just chuck the ingredients in along with some water or stock, press a button, and twenty minutes later the soup is done.

We spent an hour or two in Chichester this afternoon. Gorse Fox wanted some bits from M&S and we had received notification that our new piece of artwork had arrived. We didn't want to collect it as it is a birthday present for the Silver Vixen and the artist is visiting the Gallery the week of the birthday. We want to get a dedication and personal signature from her during her visit, so we have left the painting at the Gallery (we have, however, paid for it).
