It is a bit of a gamble.
It goes like this – offer received but not accepted on current house. New house selected, but pending.
New couple wander into town and show significant interest in our target house. GF drops everything and with the Silver Vixen high-tails across to the new property and lays down a deposit to ensure it doesn’t get snapped up by anyone else. If anything falls through, half the deposit disappears! But if everything works, then the Gorse Fox and Silver Vixen just bought a house.
Just need to hope and pray that everything goes smoothly and that the bank will play nicely.
