For some bizarre but unknown reason, I had a dreadful night's sleep. As a result, I was up early to recharge my caffeine stream. Diane shuffled down some time later and we had a quiet breakfast. I prepared vegetables and some chicken thighs so that they could snuggle in the base of the slow cooker for the day. A casserole would make a nice change from the usual Sunday roast.
Diane did some pottering in the garden before the weather breaks (tomorrow). I took the opportunity to go for a walk but didn't manage to go as far as planned as my coffee intake clearly surpassed my bladder's ability to retain it.
Zoe called. She wanted some help putting up a gallery wall of photos. She had already done much of the work but wanted help and advice for some differently-sized pictures. I popped home to get my double-sided nano-tape. It is far easier to use and get the positioning right than using clips or screws.
Back home we settled down for some Kindle time in the Orangery for the rest of the afternoon.
