It was a wet one. Though dry when the Gorse Fox first got up, it only lasted about fifteen minutes then the heavens opened and a very wet morning set in. It had been forecast so the Gorse Fox had nothing planned that would be affected. There were utility meters to read, some ironing to get done - and, of course, coffee to drink. Clearly a stressful morning.
Urban-Cub was up and about and busy packing. She and Pistol Pete are off to Devon for the week, staying near Ilfracombe. It would clearly be a wet drive down but the forecast for the week doesn't look too bad.
By lunchtime it had dried up and the sun was playing hide-and-seek with the vestigial clouds. The Silver Vixen and the Gorse Fox went for a short walk round the area before retiring to the Orangery for a quiet afternoon.
