The Gorse Fox was up and about and raring to go. By 9 a.m. he had made the bed, cooked bacon and eggs for his breakfast, finished his first coffee, fed the cat, emptied the dishwasher, cleared away, and finished painting the planters in garden. Most productive start to the day.
Next on the agenda was a bit of dowling that would fill a plastic sleeve that supported the solar panel that came with the new lights the Silver Vixen had bought this week. A trip to B&Q (via Sainsbury's) provided a perfect fit. Back home the dowling was inserted and the resulting post drilled and and affixed to the top of the pergola. The lights were stapled in place, continuing the run that we installed last week. Hopefully it will look quite special - but that won't be revealed until it gets dark.
The Gorse Fox spent a while on the phone with Urban-Cub. The Excel code he had written was explained and the Gorse Fox talked her through the process of updating her calendar with an import of the data collected.
All-in-all quite a productive day, so far.
