The Silver Vixen and the Gorse Fox went to visit Sue and Trevor (Rick Wakeman). It was a remarkable quick trip across to Brighton and we soon settled down with cups of tea and all the latest news from the families. It's always fun as they are so hospitable and easy to chat with. Whilst there, Jon came home having just won a football match 4-1, but pulled a hamstring in the process. Soon after, Alan arrived - so we saw all of the local branch of the family.
Leaving the lads to their own plans, the "old" folk headed across to a Chinese restaurant in Hove that seems to be incredibly popular. As it is, you have to book weeks in advance.
It has an interesting take on the traditional buffet. In a normal restaurant buffet you have long tables where you go and help yourself to your chosen selection from whatever has been put on display. At Danny's, the selection is described in the menu - and you make your choice, it is cooked there and then and served. You can go back as often as you like, and seem to be able to select time and time again.
Very impressive, very tasty, and absolutely fresh. (Also, great value for money). We had a wonderful meal, and would recommend the establishment to any who may be in the area.
