Long, hot, summer day

The five a.m. start meant that it was to be a long hot summer day. The Gorse Fox was in Ripper Territory today and was pleased to find his ID card worked and that he had arrived early enough to grab a desk.

Most of the day was spent on the phone - one calling running on in to another almost devoid of breaks. Despite that he managed to multi task and get far amount of work done in parallel and even made several timely interventions on the calls to prove he was listening.

He's now heading home and it is evident that there is some train disruption due to a faulty level crossing down in Angmering. This meant that he has managed to get on the 1734 train which is good - but as it is 1748 and its still in the station, the outlook is mixed.
