Though still bright, some cloud cover has blown in on a cool north westerly. Gorse Fox has been getting ready for the next business session, and the follow-on party. We have been warned to dress for "outside" and told that it will be held within the grounds of the castle, here in Cape Town.

Reviewing these few days, Gorse Fox would recommend Cape Town as a destination for anyone. Why?

1. The geographical setting is just about as good as it can get.
2. The weather is superb - in their summer the temperature seems to vary from the mid-20s to about 40C - with Atlantic breezes to take the worst off.
3. The people are so friendly. Everyone you meet says "Enjoy your stay" and actually look as if they mean it.
4. There's plenty to do on land, on sea, or in the air.
5. There's museums, gardens, wine estates, safaris, sport and list that could continue down the page.
6. It is laid back.
7. They seem to know how to party
