It was another gorgeous autumn day. The sun was out, the sky was blue, it was about 18C and it was great to be alive.
The Silver Vixen wanted to join the Gorse Fox on a walk, so (in deference to her ladylike qualities) he rapidly planned a route that would not involve too much rough ground, and should be fairly flat. The route chosen was to start at the car park in Arundel (at the bottom of the picture), then loop anti-clockwise up along the river to the Black Rabbit, swing back along the road to Swanbourne Lake for a circuit of the lake, and then head back to the starting point.
On a day such as today, that would be perfect
