There was no need to get up early. Ellie was not going to school and Zoe was not due to start until 10:00. Diane had cancelled Pilates but did meet with the girls to exchange cards and gifts. Ellie stayed home with me. We played several board games and she finished writing Xmas cards for her friends. She seems a lot brighter today and the antibiotics seem to be working.
After I had made lunch, Ellie and I started working on a jigsaw. I say "started" because she only lasted about 10 minutes and then left it to Grandpa. To be fair, it was quite a complex picture with many similarities across the image - just to make it more difficult.
When Nana got home, Ellie swooped onto her coattails and followed her like a shadow for most of the afternoon. They went out for a while to hand deliver the Xmas cards for the neighbours... I carried on with the jigsaw.
I did have some fun with the new "Image Playground" feature on the MacBook (and iPad). I generated AI representations of the family members. To save embarrassment I will only show the image of me.
Diane has gone back out this evening. She is meeting up with Kim in Southsea to see Anton du Beke at the King's Theatre.
