The call goes up time and time again. "Running, ref he's running!"
Well, it is more or less under control on Sunday and Wednesday - but Tuesday is a different kettle of fish. The Gorse Fox was moved to speak to the ref after today's games. He made no attempt to stop people running, and that takes the fun away from those who try to follow the rules. To be fair, he was very apologetic - but that butters no parsnips, particularly if you have just lost 5 out of 6 games to teams featuring Mo Farrah, Kipchoge Kyeno, Carl Lewis, Kelly Homes, and the roadrunner.
Once home, the Gorse Fox spent the afternoon in the Orangery reading the "The Hut Six Story". Absolutely riveting.
