A fairly usual start to the day, but thankfully not an early one. After coffee and overnight news, I wandered around to Zoe's to join the walk to school. After the drop-off, I continued for my pre-breakfast walk.
After breakfast, most of the morning was spent bringing the accounts up to date and then returning to the research I started yesterday regarding home printers for Zoe. In the end, I think I found the ideal solution... so that is Christmas sorted!
It is a case of "all change" today. Our neighbours, Trudy and Ian, moved out and new neighbours moved in. Needless to say, it didn't go smoothly. Though the exchange was due to happen at lunchtime, it was late afternoon before the conveyancer condescended to tell them the money had been exchanged. Because of the delay, we invited Trudy and Ian in for coffee while they waited. They went back to wait in the shell that was their house, and we settled down for some Kindle time.
Late in the afternoon, I headed out for a second walk of the day. I wasn't really in the mood for it, but I'm glad I forced myself. As I returned home I met our new neighbours - Sandra and Laurie. They seemed very nice and I gave them a bottle of Prosecco to welcome them.
