Travel Agent

It's been a very quiet day. Old Bill and Lady Penelope arrived home from the Caribbean and informed us that they have all the information we need for our forthcoming trip with regards to rooms to select and things to do. There's still quite a few weeks left before that all becomes relevant. First we will have Cousteau-Cub coming home and we must get her all settled in.

As there are some special offers on at present, the Gorse Fox spent several hours this afternoon looking at holiday options for late in the year or maybe next year. One side was a trans-Canada railway journey - but that does seem a little expensive. Then he looked at the option of a hiring a motorhome to do the trip (or parts of it). That seems like a more affordable option - but there's one hell of a lot of driving to do. Then he decided to look further a field. He's looked at Cape Verde, Antigua, Santorini, Mauritius... even Fiji. So far there's nothing that floats our boat (oooh, there's an idea - a narrow boat up the canals; maybe not).
