Quite wet overnight but it had stopped raining by the time we got up and about. The Silver Vixen had her Pilates class and left first, and the Gorse Fox had football.
Football was a very tight affair. The game ended up 1-0 and the Gorse Fox was on the losing side. He did, however, thoroughly enjoy the cut and thrust of the game. He was interested to hear when we returned to the dressing room that the the other team had determined that they had to keep the Gorse Fox deep in defence and their tactics were to prevent him from roaming forward. This, they said, would give them a chance. The Gorse Fox was flattered.
The afternoon was quite wet but didn't really affect us.
The Gorse Fox decided to try a new recipe tonight. He made a large beef and bacon meatloaf. This was a great success and there is sufficient left over to sort out tomorrow's dinner also.
