Blown Back

Storm Gareth kept it up. There were the odd lulls overnight, but by morning it was very stormy again.

The Silver Vixen headed off to Pilates and the Gorse Fox headed to Worthing for his football. The game was made much more interesting by the wind which randomly swept the ball from beneath your feet or completely changed the direction in which you had kicked it. Today was a close game, and the Gorse Fox thinks it ended up as a 3-3 draw. The Gorse Fox scored one of the goals and was set to score another when he was scythed down from behind. Unfortunately the resulting free lick was squandered which kept the scores even.

The Biryani that the Gorse Fox made last night smelled absolutely wonderful and tasted really good. His only criticism was that the texture wasn't quite right. The Silver Vixen liked it though, so that's a real bonus. The Gorse Fox has annotated and adjusted the recipe for the next attempt.

We have Ellie with us for the next couple of days so this will give the Gorse Fox a chance to catch up on the latest news from Peppa Pig. It is certainly more interesting than Brexit and the self-serving little slime balls in Parliament and the EU.
