Shopping and Visiting

Yesterday we spent the morning wandering around the Eaton Centre. It is so large that it can be a tourist destination in its own right. The Silver Vixen eventually found what she had been looking for, and after a bit of searching the Gorse Fox also found a replacement tote bag for carry-on items on the plane.

In the afternoon we went to visit Beloved Aunt. This was the first time that the Gorse Fox had driven any distance and likely to be an adventure. The car does not have a SatNav, so we used Google map's navigation function and it did a superb job of getting us to our destination without getting snarled in any traffic.

The time with Beloved Aunt was taken up with photos. She was eager to see photos of our house, the Oranger, the garden, Cousteau-cub, and Urban-cub. Fortunately they are all in Google Photos so the Gorse Fox and the Silver Vixen were able to dig out whatever she wanted. It was a lovely few hours culminating with her give us a guided tour of the facility and introducing us to staff and residents that we passed in the corridors and rooms.

By late afternoon they were getting ready to serve dinner, so we waved goodbye and headed downtown. Again Google Maps did a superb job, directing us down a different but trouble-free route to the hotel.
