Visitation

Thursdays always start with shopping. Not the sort that needs shoes and coats and bags, but the sort that knock on the door at 10:00 and hands over the weekly shop. So it was today, but after the 320 miles covered yesterday, the thought of a quiet day was quite appealing.

While talking with Blade yesterday, the Gorse Fox got onto the subject of writing programs. This triggered a thought, so this morning, the Gorse Fox sat down and wrote down his (previously unwritten) rules of programming. This done, he sent them off to Blade - it was, after all, his Birthday today.

Urban-Cub arrived mid-morning. She has a few days off and dropped in for a few hours. It is alway nice to see her and hear all the latest news about Gatwick. She stayed for lunch, but the Gorse Fox had to leave soon after in order to take the Silver Vixen's broomstick for its first annual service. Needless to say, it got a clean bill of health.
