After the second failure of his secondary backup yesterday, GF ordered a new NAS drive from his friend Amazon. A sparkly new 3TB drive turned up at lunchtime, is already connected to his network, and the backups are re-silvering the images. No issues so far (indeed, none really expected).
Confirmation came through at lunchtime that next week's Walking Football Tournament (part of the National competition for 2015) isn't so much of a Tournament - more a one-off match. The team submitted by B&HA AITC for Portslade never really existed and they were essentially a place-holder... and the place was never filled. GF is just hoping his hamstring is sufficiently healed by next week to allow him to play.
