Today we were out and about. Not too far out and not too around about. Just out and about.
It was time for our regular visit with Betty and Barney Rubble, and this time it was our turn to visit them. This is first time we have headed over to them since moving and though we are a little closer, the journey seemed disproportionately shorter, which was a nice surprise.
As usual our day was filled with chat and news about respective families, about their recent holiday in Finland and our impending trip to Thailand. After sufficient coffee was consumed, we headed out into the Bandit Country of Basingstoke where we enjoyed some tapas at La Tasca.
A quiet afternoon was enjoyed in their garden, chatting, eating strawberries, cake, and cream and drinking copious amounts of tea.
