Recant

The Gorse Fox is both amazed and impressed by the news from South Africa today. According to the BBC:

Fifa president Sepp Blatter has apologised to the Football Association over Frank Lampard's disallowed goal in England's World Cup defeat by Germany.

Well that was amazing. But even more so the GF is impressed that he went on to say:

"It is obvious that after the experiences so far at this World Cup it would be a nonsense not to reopen the file on goal-line technology," stated Blatter.

The man was not as entrenched as expected and was big enough to admit he may have been wrong. The Gorse Fox salutes him, at this point, and trusts he will do the right thing.
