In a move that helps to convince us that today's teachers are really in touch with what is going on around them, we learn from the BBC that Teachers demand 10% pay increase.
The Gorse Fox is not arguing whether they get paid enough, or not. He is, however, spluttering at the affrontery of the request from the public purse at a time like this. It reminds him of the '70s and the self-destruction of the car industry as Unions made claims for more and more whilst the companies could afford less and less.
