Plumpton Walk

This was the route that the Gorse Fox selected for his walk today. It started at the National Trust Car Park at Ditchling (TQ 333 129) - the westernmost point of this map, and followed an anti-clockwise rotation through the Downs.

The day was perfect. Bright and sunny, but not too hot. This brought out lots of walkers, but most of them stuck to the main routes along the South Downs way, so once the Gorse Fox turned South-east he pretty much had the place to himself.
