This weekend's walk like walking the sides of a big "W". Starting at the westernmost point (the car park at Whiteways) the route looped clockwise to the South Downs Way, down the side of Bury Hill, across the River Arun, then up High Titten, across the downs to the Monarch's Way and back down to North Stoke, along the railway to Houghton and back to the beginning.[File under: Sussex Walk, South Downs, North Stoke, Houghton]
