Quick plug. If you are a BT Broadband customer, then you can subscribe to BT Openzone (the wireless hotspot network) for 5 UK pounds per month - giving you 500 minutes fro your fee. GF thinks that is a decent deal (compared to the £5 per hour carged for casual use).
The Hotel has a t-Mobile hotspot, but t-Mobile are part of the same network, and consequently the BT Openzone login worked across the system. Sorted!
