Gorse Fox had to make a slight detour where a footpath seemed to disappear as it crossed a road, but it was no problem. The walk looped back round across the River Adur's flood plain and back into Bramber near St Mary's House and Garden. This was open to the public, but GF decided the nearby pub looked more attractive at that moment, and a return visit with the Silver Vixen would have to be arranged.
