GF had an early start. He had to get to Worcester for early meetings. Being a considerate soul, he normally performs his ablutions downstairs so as to cause the least possible disruption to the sleep patterns of the Silver Vixen. Now, Medallion man is still working on the downstairs bathroom (we at least he was during the day, we let him leave over night) so GF had to use the en suite.
How do you have a shower quietly when you have a powerful pumped shower and also an extractor fan. These are noisy, so GF tried to do without the fan by opening the window. This caused the door to rattle and woke the SV anyway. A cup tea brought to the bedside was suitable penance!
