A quiet day by any measure.

Dull weather, few phone calls, few emails (i.e less than 20), plenty of opportunity to develop further ideas for esteemed client. Also GF managed to interview a couple of additional candidates for roles on his project, but as one only works 3 days a week, she has rather excluded herself from contention due to the tight timescales. (Whilst she is willing to work 3 long days, the esteemed client works a strict 7 hour day).

Digital maps turned up during the morning. This gave the GF an opportunity to experiment with the GPS during his lunchtime. GF can now plot routes and download them to the GPS; load new map sources; and set his own waypoints. It's all getting rather exciting.

Cousteau-cub arrived early afternoon. She is getting ready to return to the Thai Islands to spend a few weeks helping with the under-water salvage. So the afternoon was spent cleaning and servicing various dive paraphernalia ready for the trip. She's off next week, and working nights up until she leaves so this'll be the last time we see her for about a month.

Early start in the morning for a round trip to Worcester.
