On vacation now until next Thursday. Lovely bright morning, though obviously cold. Snow fell in the North and even the Midlands yesterday, temperatures here dropped to about 1C overnight. No specific plans for today, but will have to go and pick up Cousteau-cub at some point as she is hitching a lift with us down to Cornwall tomorrow.

Neanderthals were waiting to fix roof tiles, when I returned from collecting Cousteau-cub. The Silver Vixen was in the back garden and hadn't heard them when they arrived.
