Ogg-in-Chief

Ogg finally turned up. He had to put some fire reardent seal around the chimney opening... but had brought the wrong size. So he used a fire-cement for now, and will return (?) to replace it.

We did a smoke test and then started to light up the new fire. It was pretty good, I must say, though the logs are obviously not really dry enough to burn very well. I guess it will take a bit of practice to get it just right.

Urban-cub swept in like a domestic tornado. She was in full flow for a while when i suggested she said hello to the Silver Vixen. I had to provide a torch so that she could find her still pottering around in the garden... in the dark!
