First frost of the winter last night. It had laid neatly along the tramlines of lawn, but was rapidly disappearing as the sun climbed in the brilliant blue sky. Tried damping down the fire last night before retiring to bed, in the hope that it would still be viable this morning. Not the case, however. I suspect I may have to load it up a bit more for that work.

Rememberance Sunday today. A time to to remember and be thankful to all brave soldiers, sailors, and airmen who have given the ultimate sacrifice to keep us free. So sad how little respect they are given by the chattering classes that now occupy the seat of government.

We are expecting Betty & Barney Rubble for the day today, so had a blast round with vacuum clean and duster first thing. Barney has a new car also, and this should be his first real run (to keep the Flinstones analogy going) in it.
